Martial Law

Marcos led the Philippines for 21 years. He is said to be one of the dictators and tortured the Filipinos for his long reign as a president of the Philippines. In 1972,when Marcos declared the Martial Law in the Philippines.Martial law was declared because of the threat of the "Biism" from bombing the Manila. There are places that is already under control by the "Armed Forces of the Philippines".

Martial Law was really like a horror from the eye of many Filipinos that is experienced it.Based on what I watched and what I read, many Filipinos experienced seffering from it .
If we compare martial law from what is happening today, there is a lot of similarities.Because many of Filipinos are opposed to our government because of the wrong conduct that is happening right now.But even if there are some similarities there is also a change.People have become aware of the wrong things that happening in the country. Not just then people are dependent on the command of the Ferdinand Marcos and they do not see the wrong things that happen in the country. But now,we,people of the Philippines who have been attacked by the violence that that had taken place before is realize the bad things that is happen before. We have learned to fight the government for our freedom. Many of us do not want to experienced the Martial Law because of the difficulties faced by the other Filipinos at the time Ferdinand Marcos filed the Martial law.
And before the Philippines was burried in debt. The Philippines had a 27 billion$ debt from the other country.Anx also what I read,it was also paid by Ferdinand Marcos and also because it was paid for,the Philippines become rich. Like what is happening now,the Philippine is experiencing adversity. But in spite of that we still learn fight against the government for the right and for not experiencing what happened th past.
And in tone of Marcos he closed the television, radio, and news papers.Because all of this is against the government.Security was also tight and enforced curfew in every area.Like until now we still have curfew in every area of the Philippines for the security of all the people. And all of that is what happened before. And if I'm one will be ask,I want to make more Filipinos be aware to the government so that we can avoid the badthings happened. But on the other hand,it's still a good thing why?Because for that reason,we have been able to rise and learn to fight against to our desired freedom.

Introduce Yourself (Example Post)

This is an example post, originally published as part of Blogging University. Enroll in one of our ten programs, and start your blog right.

You’re going to publish a post today. Don’t worry about how your blog looks. Don’t worry if you haven’t given it a name yet, or you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just click the “New Post” button, and tell us why you’re here.

Why do this?

  • Because it gives new readers context. What are you about? Why should they read your blog?
  • Because it will help you focus you own ideas about your blog and what you’d like to do with it.

The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.

To help you get started, here are a few questions:

  • Why are you blogging publicly, rather than keeping a personal journal?
  • What topics do you think you’ll write about?
  • Who would you love to connect with via your blog?
  • If you blog successfully throughout the next year, what would you hope to have accomplished?

You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.

Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.

When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
